At the pyramids are a horde of peddlers, all selling the same or very similar items. Since there’s so little variation in what’s actually being sold, the peddlers try to get creative in their attempts to lure customers (that is, when they’re not being just plain aggressive). This peddler set up his figurines in an open area to attract the curious. That would include me. As soon as I took this shot I was assailed by the vendor to buy them. These guys are sometimes very difficult to shake once aroused from their slumber.

I should’ve taken the time to switch lenses, but I’d just come down from the pyramid of the sun with my wide-angle lens on, and I was a bit too winded and in too much of a hurry as I thought our group was leaving. Either that, or I should have moved a lot closer. (smile)
